In 2014, a wonderful woman in Fontenay Le Comte, France, took me to a printmaking workshop where I created a panel of blues. It didn't dry in time to come home with me. 
Last month, I returned to the lovely village. During a luncheon at Chantal's home, she took me aside and gave me the print she'd saved for nine years! 
This time, the painting came home with me and I completed the work.
